PORT ANGELES — A Port Angeles man was transported to Olympic Medical Middle with non-life-threatening accidents Thursday afternoon after his automobile drifted off U.S. Freeway 101, drove up an embankment and smashed a fence earlier than hitting a constructing, based on the State Patrol.
Gabriel E. Connors, 30, was charged with driving beneath the affect and wheels off the roadway, based on a State Patrol press memo.
Connors was driving eastbound on Freeway 101 at about 1:45 p.m. and approaching River Street when his automobile moved into the median and crossed each eastbound lanes earlier than leaving the freeway.
“He hit the nook of the constructing and took out help beams within the nook,” State Patrol spokesperson Trooper Chelsea Hodgson stated Thursday night.
“No person was within the constructing,” she added.
Connors was sporting a seat belt, based on the press memo.
His automobile was utterly destroyed.
Connors’ situation at OMC was unavailable early Thursday night.
