Russian vessel Fortuna has began laying pipes for the Nord Stream 2 gasoline pipeline in German waters, the gasoline undertaking stated on Sunday, citing Germany’s Waterway and Transport Authority.
Nord Stream 2, which runs on the mattress of the Baltic Sea from Russia to Germany, bypassing Ukraine, has confronted criticism from the US, which claims it would enhance European reliance on Russian gasoline.
Fortuna and different vessels participating within the undertaking have been added to a U.S. sanctions listing.
