LPG tanker SEAGAS MAJOR with a load of LPG suffered a turbocharger breakdown early Feb 18 shortly after leaving Milford Haven, Wales, Celtic sea. Tanker was taken on tow however needed to be anchored, after towline broke. Makes an attempt to resumed towage failed as a result of opposed climate. Lastly, at round noon Feb 20, she was taken on tow by French tug BEVER (IMO 9492256), to be towed, it’s believed, to Avonmouth Bristol. At 0330 UTC Feb 21 caravan was properly into Bristol Channel, escorted by tug WELSHMAN.
