British navigator Jimmy Cornell set sail from Seville in Spain on Thursday to commemorate the five hundredth anniversary of the primary voyage around the globe—this time on an electrical boat.
Cornell plans to comply with the route taken by explorers Ferdinand Magellan and Juan Sebastian Elcano.
The journey “has two dimensions, a historic dimension, as a result of I need to journey the unique and historic route,” Cornell informed reporters.
