BLACK SEA – The Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Monterey (CG 61) performed a two day port go to in Romania, March 22-23, 2021 as a part of their mission to conduct presence operations within the Black Sea area and take part within the Romanian-led train Sea Defend 2021.

U.S. Sixth Fleet, headquartered in Naples, Italy, conducts the complete spectrum of joint and naval operations, typically in live performance with allied and interagency companions, with the intention to advance U.S. nationwide pursuits and safety and stability in Europe and Africa.
