WASHINGTON (KYMA, KECY) – Arizona Senators Kyrsten Sinema and Mark Kelly request funding for Arizona’s port of entries within the annual funds proposal to make sure vital services are secured.
“As your administration works in your fiscal 12 months 2022 funds proposal, we ask that strong funding be included within the Basic Companies Administration funds request for land ports of entry building tasks vital for our state of Arizona Completion of those tasks will facilitate further cross-border commerce, enhance our nation’s border safety, and assist our state and nation get better from COVID-19,” the Senators wrote.
Sinema and Kelly particularly name for funding the San Luis Port of Entry, the development of a brand new business port of entry, the replace of the port of entry in Douglas and Nogales.
